Both were unable to find enough additional votes to form a coalition and to gain a majority.

I am on the streets alongside thousands of Bolivians — despite the coup regime’s violence — demanding the resignations of the coup regime and insisting on a return to democracy. However, the coup regime appears determined to hang onto power for as long as it can.

Coup leader and self-appointed interim president of Bolivia, Jeanine Añez, appointed a whole new cabinet and already begun changing Bolivia’s foreign policy, despite having no such mandate. The coup regime’s interim Interior Minister issued a decree exempting the country’s police and military from criminal charges that would otherwise arise as a result of their treatment of the protesters. It is terribly scary, but I am proud to be among the crowds of indigenous people marching for their country.

A month ago, Bolivia was a stable country with a growing economy and decreasing poverty and inequality. Now, chaos and violence have gripped the country, as racism and religious discrimination are rearing their ugly heads. The indigenous Wiphala flag has been ripped off government buildings and uniforms, while the coup regime brags about the supremacy of Christianity and the Bible over the Pachamama (the Andean goddess representing mother earth) and calls sacred indigenous traditions “satanic.”

The people of Bolivia need the international community to come here to witness--and stop--the repression and slide to a police state. Please join me in telling U.N. Human Rights Chief Michelle Bachelet to join me here on the ground in Bolivia.

Looks like we're in for another pointless "nothing burger" like the Mueller investigation. Even if the Democrats manage to impeach Drumpf, he's not going anywhere. Did you forget that Bill Clinton actually did get impeached? You'd never know it listening to the mainstream media. It was all a circus to distract the American people from the fact that their jobs were going away due to disastrous trade agreements, and the serious war crimes going on in former Yugoslavia. What are we being distracted from now? I can't even say because all I hear about is what the mainstream media and compromised platforms like Twitter and Youtube tell me about. I'm a fairly anxious person and when I see things are FUBAR I try as best as possible to take them with a dash of humor. Not Tony Ray ... he's the type of person who gazes into the graveyard head on. There's something very disturbing about that to me, but it's hard to argue with what he's saying. Of course a lot of people thought the world was going to end in 2012, and I whistled past that graveyard as well, and nothing happened. The bottom line is that the only person you can change is yourself, but it turns out that's enough. Because when you change, your world changes with it.

Carbyne911, or simply Carbyne, develops call-handling and identification capabilities for emergency response services in countries around the world, including the United States, where it has already been implemented in several U.S. counties and has partnered with major U.S. tech companies like Google. It specifically markets its product as a way of mitigating mass shootings in the United States without having to change existing U.S. gun laws.

Yet, Carbyne is no ordinary tech company, as it is deeply connected to the elite Israeli military intelligence division, Unit 8200, whose “alumni” often go on to create tech companies — Carbyne among them — that frequently maintain their ties to Israeli intelligence and, according to Israeli media reports and former employees, often “blur the line” between their service to Israel’s defense/intelligence apparatus and their commercial activity. As this report will reveal, Carbyne is but one of several Israeli tech companies marketing themselves as a technological solution to mass shootings that has direct ties to Israeli intelligence agencies.

Epstein dies in "apparent suicide"

Apparent suicide: Those two words are all you have to hear to know that report is fake. Suicide watch or not, there would have been 24/7 surveillance in that man's cell. Suicide watch or not, there is simply no place for people to hang themselves in a jail cell. Even if there was, the man would have definitely been found hanging. There would be no words to the effect of an "apparent suicide." Obviously he would have been found hanging and if he were alone in his cell, it would have to be a suicide, wouldn't it? Was he alone in his cell? Did he have a cell mate? Then the cell mate would have been a witness to the whole thing, wouldn't he? Epstein wouldn't have been found unresponsive the next day. Or his cellmate would have been heavily questioned. None of this makes sense. How anyone with half a brain can accept the words "apparent suicide" is beyond me. I'd like to see a photo of his cell. Show me where he was found hanging. Show me what he hung himself with. The public is owed that much.

The Significance of this Time of Year

I knew yesterday was the anniversary of the first atomic bomb dropped on a civilian population by the only country to do so, my own country, the United States. I mentioned it on Twitter but not on my blog, and I'm kind of sorry about that, because it's something we should never forget. That's why I'm posting this link to NTS's Ode to Hiroshima which includes the moving poem “I AM BECOME DEATH THE DESTROYER OF WORLD” by Tom Karlson.

On this day in history, in 1990, Operation Desert Shield begins as US troops deploy to Saudi Arabia to discourage Iraq's Saddam Hussein from invading that country as he had Kuwait. In 1973, A U.S. plane accidentally bombs a Cambodian village, killing 400 civilians. In 1964, Congress overwhelmingly passes the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, allowing the president to use unlimited military force to prevent attacks on U.S. forces.

For those of you who are metaphysically inclined, tomorrow (8/8) is the peak time for the Lionsgate Portal, when the sun becomes aligned with the star Sirius. This is not a time to be afraid, it's a time to set positive intentions for the future. Hope you all are enjoying your summer (or winter, for those South of the Equator).

The El Paso shooting took place about an hour ago. I was following it on Twitter. Initial reports were about two different locations: the Cielo Vista Mall and Wal-Mart. As with the Garlic Festival, the earliest reports had witness say there were multiple shooters, but now it's shaking out that it was only one shooter, what a surprise ... Let's see what footage we'll see from this, of course there would be security cameras on every inch of that area.

Last week Iran seized a British oil tanker — Britain had seized an Iranian ship at the beginning of July. Now Iran says it has arrested 17 CIA-trained spies, and some have been sentenced to death. To top it off, the Trump administration announced that it is deploying 500 troops to Saudi Arabia, the arch-rival of Iran.

The Iraq war was devastating. The idea of repeating this colossal failure—on an even bigger scale, with zero justification and no plan for what would come next—is terrifying. Here are a few actions you can take:

A joint congressional committee will soon be appointed to iron out the differences between the House and Senate versions of the National Defense Authority Act (NDAA). Send a message now to your Representative asking them to pressure Speaker Pelosi to make sure the House’s No War With Iran amendment is included in the final bill that arrives on Trump’s desk.

Contact your Senators and ask them to support Senator Udall’s legislation to prevent a war with Iran.

Tweet at Congress, tell them that they have a responsibility to keep us out of a war with Iran

Representative Ro Khanna responded to Iran’s arrest of 17 accused CIA spies by tweeting: “If true [that they were spying], we need more transparency and more answers about what the CIA is doing in Iran. What is the CIA’s goal here? We should not support any regime change in Iran, and instead, learn from the 1953 overthrow of Mossadegh.”

Before the theocratic government of Iran today, there was the brutal Shah who came to power following the CIA overthrow of Iran’s then democratically elected, pro-Western government. Under the Shah, a contract was signed with the British Anglo-Iranian Oil Company giving Britain exclusive rights to the country’s oil for the next 60 years.

Public ire over the giveaway of Iran’s biggest resource culminated with the 1951 election of Mohammad Mossadegh, who introduced a bill — unanimously approved by Parliament — to nationalize the country’s oil. Britain responded by appealing to the US and then in 1953, the CIA orchestrated a coup, reinstating the Shah.

Mossadegh’s removal in 1953 ended up having a tragic impact on US-Iranian relations and of course the Iranian people. The Shah gained even more dictatorial powers and all secular parties and organizations that had opposed the Shah were dismantled and banned, setting the stage for the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since 1979, US policy towards Iran has largely been one of economic strangulation through a variety of sanctions in an attempt to foment a counter-revolution. It was only thanks to Obama getting the nuclear deal that the tide began to turn, but then came Trump, who tore the deal to pieces.

The Trump administration’s campaign of “maximum pressure” only vindicates Iranian hardliners who say “See, we told you that you should never have made a deal with the US in the first place.” Those hardliners are becoming more powerful, cracking down on dissent. So the Iranian people pay the price, both from suffering under the sanctions and the conservative backlash.

If you haven’t picked it up yet, get Medea’s book Inside the Islamic Republic of Iran to learn more and take action to stop a war with Iran by telling Pelosi to make sure the No War with Iran amendment is included in the NDAA. Remember to also ask your Senators to support Udall’s legislation, and take action on social media.

Let’s stop the next war now!

This Day in History

I've added a couple links to my website. One is for Moongiant, just because I like to know what phase the moon is in (today happens to be a full moon/partial lunar eclipse in Capricorn) and the other is for "This Day in History." Which is often more significant than most people know. Today happens to be a particularly interesting day. In 1918, Czar Nicholas and his entire family were murdered by the Bolsheviks. In 1945, the first atomic bomb was tested in New Mexico. A private plane piloted by John F. Kennedy Jr. was lost over the waters off Martha's Vineyard, Mass. And of course, 50 years ago, "Apollo 11 blasts off from Cape Kennedy, Florida, heading for a landing on the moon."

But did it really? I don't think so, and many other intelligent bloggers and researchers think the same. If I have time I'd like to do a report on the connections between Hollywood director Stanley Kubrick and the Apollo Space Program. Was it all a staged event? I don't know how real this is, but here is an alleged confession by Kubrick. I've seen a few of his movies, and I have to say, the style in which the moon landings were presented certainly remind me of his directing. BTW, today also happens to be the 20th anniversary of the release of Stanley Kubrick's final film, "Eyes Wide Shut."

“Interim President” Juan Guaido and right-wing opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez spearheaded an unsuccessful coup attempt in Caracas on Tuesday.

The thwarted uprising started in the early morning hours when renegade military and intelligence officers reportedly released Lopez from house arrest. Lopez then joined Guaido and a handful of soldiers on the Altamira overpass in east Caracas, outside the Francisco de Miranda airbase, known as La Carlota.

Lopez and Guaido released videos on social media, calling on the armed forces to back their efforts and urging supporters to take to the streets, in what they termed as the “final phase” of the so-called “Operation Freedom.” Large crowds of anti-government protesters, as well as opposition lawmakers, made their way to the Altamira overpass.

The scene then saw armed confrontations between the soldiers that backed Juan Guaido and those inside La Carlota airbase. According to witnesses in La Carlota, the Venezuelan armed forces fired tear gas towards the Altamira overpass, where civilian protesters began to gather, whereas Guaido’s soldiers returned live fire. Riot police also appeared on the scene to try and disperse the crowds. There are reports of protesters wounded and arrested that are unconfirmed at the time of writing...

Today is the 6th anniversary of the Boston marathon bombing, which I believe was a staged event. Why am I not surprised there is another history-making event happening just now ... the steeple of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris just collapsed. What the heck is going on here? Other historically significant events happened on April 15th. Lincoln died. The Titanic sank. April is the month, it seems, for lots of Illuminati-related chaos happening.
