Havana Syndrome in the News

Havana Syndrome was trending on Twitter today. The CIA says it is not the result of a sustained global campaign by a hostile power aimed at hundreds of American diplomats and spies.

My guess is that Havana Syndrome is actually a Directed Energy Attack, and I've written quite a bit about it on this blog. The technology for this kind of thing has been around for decades. It's not imaginary. Jesse Ventura did a show about it called "Brain Invaders" on his popular series "Conspiracy Theory."

Open letter from medical doctors and health professionals to all Belgian authorities and all Belgian media. H/T Paul Craig Roberts

We, Belgian doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore. The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.

We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties.

‘A cure must not be worse than the problem’ is a thesis that is more relevant than ever in the current situation. We note, however, that the collateral damage now being caused to the population will have a greater impact in the short and long term on all sections of the population than the number of people now being safeguarded from corona. In our opinion, the current corona measures and the strict penalties for non-compliance with them are contrary to the values formulated by the Belgian Supreme Health Council, which, until recently, as the health authority, has always ensured quality medicine in our country: “Science – Expertise – Quality – Impartiality – Independence – Transparency”. 1

We believe that the policy has introduced mandatory measures that are not sufficiently scientifically based, unilaterally directed, and that there is not enough space in the media for an open debate in which different views and opinions are heard. In addition, each municipality and province now has the authorisation to add its own measures, whether well-founded or not.

Moreover, the strict repressive policy on corona strongly contrasts with the government’s minimal policy when it comes to disease prevention, strengthening our own immune system through a healthy lifestyle, optimal care with attention for the individual and investment in care personnel.2

The concept of health

In 1948, the WHO defined health as follows: ‘Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or other physical impairment’.3

Health, therefore, is a broad concept that goes beyond the physical and also relates to the emotional and social well-being of the individual. Belgium also has a duty, from the point of view of subscribing to fundamental human rights, to include these human rights in its decision-making when it comes to measures taken in the context of public health. 4 The current global measures taken to combat SARS-CoV-2 violate to a large extent this view of health and human rights. Measures include compulsory wearing of a mask (also in open air and during sporting activities, and in some municipalities even when there are no other people in the vicinity), physical distancing, social isolation, compulsory quarantine for some groups and hygiene measures.

The predicted pandemic with millions of deaths

At the beginning of the pandemic, the measures were understandable and widely supported, even if there were differences in implementation in the countries around us. The WHO originally predicted a pandemic that would claim 3.4% victims, in other words millions of deaths, and a highly contagious virus for which no treatment or vaccine was available. This would put unprecedented pressure on the intensive care units (ICUs) of our hospitals.

This led to a global alarm situation, never seen in the history of mankind: “flatten the curve” was represented by a lockdown that shut down the entire society and economy and quarantined healthy people. Social distancing became the new normal in anticipation of a rescue vaccine.

The facts about covid-19

Gradually, the alarm bell was sounded from many sources: the objective facts showed a completely different reality. 5 6

The course of covid-19 followed the course of a normal wave of infection similar to a flu season. As every year, we see a mix of flu viruses following the curve: first the rhinoviruses, then the influenza A and B viruses, followed by the coronaviruses. There is nothing different from what we normally see.

The use of the non-specific PCR test, which produces many false positives, showed an exponential picture. This test was rushed through with an emergency procedure and was never seriously self-tested. The creator expressly warned that this test was intended for research and not for diagnostics.7 The PCR test works with cycles of amplification of genetic material – a piece of genome is amplified each time. Any contamination (e.g. other viruses, debris from old virus genomes) can possibly result in false positives.8

The test does not measure how many viruses are present in the sample. A real viral infection means a massive presence of viruses, the so-called virus load. If someone tests positive, this does not mean that that person is actually clinically infected, is ill or is going to become ill. Koch’s postulate was not fulfilled (“The pure agent found in a patient with complaints can provoke the same complaints in a healthy person”).

Since a positive PCR test does not automatically indicate active infection or infectivity, this does not justify the social measures taken, which are based solely on these tests. 9 10

Lockdown.

If we compare the waves of infection in countries with strict lockdown policies to countries that did not impose lockdowns (Sweden, Iceland …), we see similar curves. So there is no link between the imposed lockdown and the course of the infection. Lockdown has not led to a lower mortality rate.

If we look at the date of application of the imposed lockdowns we see that the lockdowns were set after the peak was already over and the number of cases decreasing. The drop was therefore not the result of the taken measures. 11 As every year, it seems that climatic conditions (weather, temperature and humidity) and growing immunity are more likely to reduce the wave of infection.

Our immune system

For thousands of years, the human body has been exposed daily to moisture and droplets containing infectious microorganisms (viruses, bacteria and fungi).

The penetration of these microorganisms is prevented by an advanced defence mechanism – the immune system. A strong immune system relies on normal daily exposure to these microbial influences. Overly hygienic measures have a detrimental effect on our immunity. 12 13 Only people with a weak or faulty immune system should be protected by extensive hygiene or social distancing.

Influenza will re-emerge in the autumn (in combination with covid-19) and a possible decrease in natural resilience may lead to further casualties.

Our immune system consists of two parts: a congenital, non-specific immune system and an adaptive immune system.

The non-specific immune system forms a first barrier: skin, saliva, gastric juice, intestinal mucus, vibratory hair cells, commensal flora, … and prevents the attachment of micro-organisms to tissue.

If they do attach, macrophages can cause the microorganisms to be encapsulated and destroyed.

The adaptive immune system consists of mucosal immunity (IgA antibodies, mainly produced by cells in the intestines and lung epithelium), cellular immunity (T-cell activation), which can be generated in contact with foreign substances or microorganisms, and humoral immunity (IgM and IgG antibodies produced by the B cells).

Recent research shows that both systems are highly entangled.

It appears that most people already have a congenital or general immunity to e.g. influenza and other viruses. This is confirmed by the findings on the cruise ship Diamond Princess, which was quarantined because of a few passengers who died of Covid-19. Most of the passengers were elderly and were in an ideal situation of transmission on the ship. However, 75% did not appear to be infected. So even in this high-risk group, the majority are resistant to the virus.

A study in the journal Cell shows that most people neutralise the coronavirus by mucosal (IgA) and cellular immunity (T-cells), while experiencing few or no symptoms 14.

Researchers found up to 60% SARS-Cov-2 reactivity with CD4+T cells in a non-infected population, suggesting cross-reactivity with other cold (corona) viruses.15

Most people therefore already have a congenital or cross-immunity because they were already in contact with variants of the same virus.

The antibody formation (IgM and IgG) by B-cells only occupies a relatively small part of our immune system. This may explain why, with an antibody percentage of 5-10%, there may be a group immunity anyway. The efficacy of vaccines is assessed precisely on the basis of whether or not we have these antibodies. This is a misrepresentation.

Most people who test positive (PCR) have no complaints. Their immune system is strong enough. Strengthening natural immunity is a much more logical approach. Prevention is an important, insufficiently highlighted pillar: healthy, full-fledged nutrition, exercise in fresh air, without a mask, stress reduction and nourishing emotional and social contacts.

Consequences of social isolation on physical and mental health

Social isolation and economic damage led to an increase in depression, anxiety, suicides, intra-family violence and child abuse.16

Studies have shown that the more social and emotional commitments people have, the more resistant they are to viruses. It is much more likely that isolation and quarantine have fatal consequences. 17

The isolation measures have also led to physical inactivity in many older people due to their being forced to stay indoors. However, sufficient exercise has a positive effect on cognitive functioning, reducing depressive complaints and anxiety and improving physical health, energy levels, well-being and, in general, quality of life.18

Fear, persistent stress and loneliness induced by social distancing have a proven negative influence on psychological and general health. 19

A highly contagious virus with millions of deaths without any treatment?

Mortality turned out to be many times lower than expected and close to that of a normal seasonal flu (0.2%). 20 The number of registered corona deaths therefore still seems to be overestimated. There is a difference between death by corona and death with corona. Humans are often carriers of multiple viruses and potentially pathogenic bacteria at the same time. Taking into account the fact that most people who developed serious symptoms suffered from additional pathology, one cannot simply conclude that the corona-infection was the cause of death. This was mostly not taken into account in the statistics.

The most vulnerable groups can be clearly identified. The vast majority of deceased patients were 80 years of age or older. The majority (70%) of the deceased, younger than 70 years, had an underlying disorder, such as cardiovascular suffering, diabetes mellitus, chronic lung disease or obesity. The vast majority of infected persons (>98%) did not or hardly became ill or recovered spontaneously.

Meanwhile, there is an affordable, safe and efficient therapy available for those who do show severe symptoms of disease in the form of HCQ (hydroxychloroquine), zinc and AZT (azithromycin). Rapidly applied this therapy leads to recovery and often prevents hospitalisation. Hardly anyone has to die now.

This effective therapy has been confirmed by the clinical experience of colleagues in the field with impressive results. This contrasts sharply with the theoretical criticism (insufficient substantiation by double-blind studies) which in some countries (e.g. the Netherlands) has even led to a ban on this therapy. A meta-analysis in The Lancet, which could not demonstrate an effect of HCQ, was withdrawn. The primary data sources used proved to be unreliable and 2 out of 3 authors were in conflict of interest. However, most of the guidelines based on this study remained unchanged … 48 49 We have serious questions about this state of affairs. In the US, a group of doctors in the field, who see patients on a daily basis, united in “America’s Frontline Doctors” and gave a press conference which has been watched millions of times.21 51 French Prof Didier Raoult of the Institut d’Infectiologie de Marseille (IHU) also presented this promising combination therapy as early as April. Dutch GP Rob Elens, who cured many patients in his practice with HCQ and zinc, called on colleagues in a petition for freedom of therapy.22 The definitive evidence comes from the epidemiological follow-up in Switzerland: mortality rates compared with and without this therapy.23

From the distressing media images of ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) where people were suffocating and given artificial respiration in agony, we now know that this was caused by an exaggerated immune response with intravascular coagulation in the pulmonary blood vessels. The administration of blood thinners and dexamethasone and the avoidance of artificial ventilation, which was found to cause additional damage to lung tissue, means that this dreaded complication, too, is virtually not fatal anymore. 47

It is therefore not a killer virus, but a well-treatable condition.

Propagation

Spreading occurs by drip infection (only for patients who cough or sneeze) and aerosols in closed, unventilated rooms. Contamination is therefore not possible in the open air. Contact tracing and epidemiological studies show that healthy people (or positively tested asymptomatic carriers) are virtually unable to transmit the virus. Healthy people therefore do not put each other at risk. 24 25 Transfer via objects (e.g. money, shopping or shopping trolleys) has not been scientifically proven.26 27 28

All this seriously calls into question the whole policy of social distancing and compulsory mouth masks for healthy people – there is no scientific basis for this.

Masks

Oral masks belong in contexts where contacts with proven at-risk groups or people with upper respiratory complaints take place, and in a medical context/hospital-retirement home setting. They reduce the risk of droplet infection by sneezing or coughing. Oral masks in healthy individuals are ineffective against the spread of viral infections. 29 30 31

Wearing a mask is not without side effects. 32 33 Oxygen deficiency (headache, nausea, fatigue, loss of concentration) occurs fairly quickly, an effect similar to altitude sickness. Every day we now see patients complaining of headaches, sinus problems, respiratory problems and hyperventilation due to wearing masks. In addition, the accumulated CO2 leads to a toxic acidification of the organism which affects our immunity. Some experts even warn of an increased transmission of the virus in case of inappropriate use of the mask.34

Our Labour Code (Codex 6) refers to a CO2 content (ventilation in workplaces) of 900 ppm, maximum 1200 ppm in special circumstances. After wearing a mask for one minute, this toxic limit is considerably exceeded to values that are three to four times higher than these maximum values. Anyone who wears a mask is therefore in an extreme poorly ventilated room. 35

Inappropriate use of masks without a comprehensive medical cardio-pulmonary test file is therefore not recommended by recognised safety specialists for workers.

Hospitals have a sterile environment in their operating rooms where staff wear masks and there is precise regulation of humidity / temperature with appropriately monitored oxygen flow to compensate for this, thus meeting strict safety standards. 36

A second corona wave?

A second wave is now being discussed in Belgium, with a further tightening of the measures as a result. However, closer examination of Sciensano’s figures (latest report of 3 September 2020)37 shows that, although there has been an increase in the number of infections since mid-July, there was no increase in hospital admissions or deaths at that time. It is therefore not a second wave of corona, but a so-called “case chemistry” due to an increased number of tests. 50

The number of hospital admissions or deaths showed a shortlasting minimal increase in recent weeks, but in interpreting it, we must take into account the recent heatwave. In addition, the vast majority of the victims are still in the population group >75 years. This indicates that the proportion of the measures taken in relation to the working population and young people is disproportionate to the intended objectives. The vast majority of the positively tested “infected” persons are in the age group of the active population, which does not develop any or merely limited symptoms, due to a well-functioning immune system. So nothing has changed – the peak is over.

Strengthening a prevention policy

The corona measures form a striking contrast to the minimal policy pursued by the government until now, when it comes to well-founded measures with proven health benefits such as the sugar tax, the ban on (e-)cigarettes and making healthy food, exercise and social support networks financially attractive and widely accessible. It is a missed opportunity for a better prevention policy that could have brought about a change in mentality in all sections of the population with clear results in terms of public health. At present, only 3% of the health care budget goes to prevention. 2

The Hippocratic Oath

As a doctor, we took the Hippocratic Oath: “I will above all care for my patients, promote their health and alleviate their suffering”.

“I will inform my patients correctly.”

“Even under pressure, I will not use my medical knowledge for practices that are against humanity.” The current measures force us to act against this oath. Other health professionals have a similar code.

The ‘primum non nocere’, which every doctor and health professional assumes, is also undermined by the current measures and by the prospect of the possible introduction of a generalised vaccine, which is not subject to extensive prior testing.

Vaccine

Survey studies on influenza vaccinations show that in 10 years we have only succeeded three times in developing a vaccine with an efficiency rate of more than 50%. Vaccinating our elderly appears to be inefficient. Over 75 years of age, the efficacy is almost non-existent.38 Due to the continuous natural mutation of viruses, as we also see every year in the case of the influenza virus, a vaccine is at most a temporary solution, which requires new vaccines each time afterwards. An untested vaccine, which is implemented by emergency procedure and for which the manufacturers have already obtained legal immunity from possible harm, raises serious questions. 39 40 We do not wish to use our patients as guinea pigs. On a global scale, 700 000 cases of damage or death are expected as a result of the vaccine.41 If 95% of people experience Covid-19 virtually symptom-free, the risk of exposure to an untested vaccine is irresponsible.

The role of the media and the official communication plan

Over the past few months, newspaper, radio and TV makers seemed to stand almost uncritically behind the panel of experts and the government, there, where it is precisely the press that should be critical and prevent one-sided governmental communication. This has led to a public communication in our news media, that was more like propaganda than objective reporting.

In our opinion, it is the task of journalism to bring news as objectively and neutrally as possible, aimed at finding the truth and critically controlling power, with dissenting experts also being given a forum in which to express themselves.

This view is supported by the journalistic codes of ethics.42

The official story that a lockdown was necessary, that this was the only possible solution, and that everyone stood behind this lockdown, made it difficult for people with a different view, as well as experts, to express a different opinion.

Alternative opinions were ignored or ridiculed. We have not seen open debates in the media, where different views could be expressed.

We were also surprised by the many videos and articles by many scientific experts and authorities, which were and are still being removed from social media. We feel that this does not fit in with a free, democratic constitutional state, all the more so as it leads to tunnel vision. This policy also has a paralysing effect and feeds fear and concern in society. In this context, we reject the intention of censorship of dissidents in the European Union! 43

The way in which Covid-19 has been portrayed by politicians and the media has not done the situation any good either. War terms were popular and warlike language was not lacking. There has often been mention of a ‘war’ with an ‘invisible enemy’ who has to be ‘defeated’. The use in the media of phrases such as ‘care heroes in the front line’ and ‘corona victims’ has further fuelled fear, as has the idea that we are globally dealing with a ‘killer virus’.

The relentless bombardment with figures, that were unleashed on the population day after day, hour after hour, without interpreting those figures, without comparing them to flu deaths in other years, without comparing them to deaths from other causes, has induced a real psychosis of fear in the population. This is not information, this is manipulation.

We deplore the role of the WHO in this, which has called for the infodemic (i.e. all divergent opinions from the official discourse, including by experts with different views) to be silenced by an unprecedented media censorship.43 44

We urgently call on the media to take their responsibilities here!

We demand an open debate in which all experts are heard.

Emergency law versus Human Rights

The general principle of good governance calls for the proportionality of government decisions to be weighed up in the light of the Higher Legal Standards: any interference by government must comply with the fundamental rights as protected in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Interference by public authorities is only permitted in crisis situations. In other words, discretionary decisions must be proportionate to an absolute necessity.

The measures currently taken concern interference in the exercise of, among other things, the right to respect of private and family life, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly and association, the right to education, etc., and must therefore comply with fundamental rights as protected by the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). For example, in accordance with Article 8(2) of the ECHR, interference with the right to private and family life is permissible only if the measures are necessary in the interests of national security, public safety, the economic well-being of the country, the protection of public order and the prevention of criminal offences, the protection of health or the protection of the rights and freedoms of others, the regulatory text on which the interference is based must be sufficiently clear, foreseeable and proportionate to the objectives pursued.45

The predicted pandemic of millions of deaths seemed to respond to these crisis conditions, leading to the establishment of an emergency government. Now that the objective facts show something completely different, the condition of inability to act otherwise (no time to evaluate thoroughly if there is an emergency) is no longer in place. Covid-19 is not a cold virus, but a well treatable condition with a mortality rate comparable to the seasonal flu. In other words, there is no longer an insurmountable obstacle to public health.

There is no state of emergency.

Immense damage caused by the current policies

An open discussion on corona measures means that, in addition to the years of life gained by corona patients, we must also take into account other factors affecting the health of the entire population. These include damage in the psychosocial domain (increase in depression, anxiety, suicides, intra-family violence and child abuse)16 and economic damage.

If we take this collateral damage into account, the current policy is out of all proportion, the proverbial use of a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

We find it shocking that the government is invoking health as a reason for the emergency law.

As doctors and health professionals, in the face of a virus which, in terms of its harmfulness, mortality and transmissibility, approaches the seasonal influenza, we can only reject these extremely disproportionate measures.

We therefore demand an immediate end to all measures.
We are questioning the legitimacy of the current advisory experts, who meet behind closed doors.
Following on from ACU 2020 46 https://acu2020.org/nederlandse-versie/ we call for an in-depth examination of the role of the WHO and the possible influence of conflicts of interest in this organisation. It was also at the heart of the fight against the “infodemic”, i.e. the systematic censorship of all dissenting opinions in the media. This is unacceptable for a democratic state governed by the rule of law.43

Distribution of this letter

We would like to make a public appeal to our professional associations and fellow carers to give their opinion on the current measures.

We draw attention to and call for an open discussion in which carers can and dare to speak out.

With this open letter, we send out the signal that progress on the same footing does more harm than good, and call on politicians to inform themselves independently and critically about the available evidence – including that from experts with different views, as long as it is based on sound science – when rolling out a policy, with the aim of promoting optimum health.

With concern, hope and in a personal capacity.

Pain rays and fried brains

I've been in a lot of pain lately and technology like this is probably why. Keep in mind this article was written ten years ago.

[...] Raytheon's Active Denial System (ADS), a directed energy weapon used for "crowd control." Known for its "goodbye effect," it functions as a primitive, though highly-effective "pain ray" by heating the skin to around 130 degrees F.

Directed energy harassment -- a personal account

[I wrote this account in September 2004. I'm reposting it here to provide context to my previous post and to get it on a different server -- in case anything happens to Indymedia's archives, as has been known to happen! As you read this, please keep in mind that things have changed dramatically since 2001, when this all started. At that time, 9-11 truth activists were are rare as hen's teeth. I strongly doubt an expensive campaign of harassment would be launched against someone like me today.]

If you're an anti-war activist, a 9-11 truth activist, or simply a thorn in the side of the ruling elite, you may have been a target of non-lethal weaponry and/or assigned harassment, without even knowing it. How can I make this claim? Well, I don't have signed confessions or "60 Minutes style" leaked documents, but I'm a good observer and compiler of anecdotal evidence, and I believe I've been the target of such dirty tactics since November 2001. Please read on before you label me paranoid, won't you?

One category of "non-lethal" weapons are those which use directed
energy such as microwaves and Extremely Low (wave) Frequencies (ELF). This stuff isn't exactly rocket science. I've read that a directed energy weapon can be made from an old microwave and parts bought from Radio Shack. If you blast someone with microwaves, they're going to become agitated, nervous and sick. That's not hard to believe, is it?

I guess the thing that's hardest to believe is that anyone -- let alone our own government would do such a thing. However, this becomes less difficult to believe when you consider the pepper-spraying of an infant at the Portland anti-Bush protest, the FBI's sinister COINTELPRO operations exposed by Frank Church in the 1970's and the horrendous psychological torture inflicted on inmates at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay. Especially when you consider the fact that the perpetrators of this torture may be independent contractors with no obvious connection to the US government.

In October 2001, I did enough reading and research on the subject to become totally convinced that the official narrative of what took place on September 11th was a load of hogwash. Worse than that, it was obviously hogwash — yet no press agency or legislative body were asking any questions — perhaps not surprising in light of the various anthrax threats perpetrated against them that month. Distraught at the prospect of our country morphing into a fascist state, I fired off a letter to the editor, several e-mails, and plastered a bunch of flyers around town. Admittedly, these are not the actions of your typical, well-adjusted citizen. But how many crisis-era activists fit the description of "typical" and "well-adjusted?"

Not long after this, my home life, already strained, became intolerable. I couldn't think clearly and had to drop out of my courses one by one. Prior to this I had maintained a 4.0 average in my university's Master's Program in Geography. By Christmas the man with whom I was raising my two toddlers took them out of state, supposedly to visit relatives for the holidays and give them a break from the unbearable stress. I soon discovered he had no intention of returning. I was a wreck. I quit my job as a Teacher's Assistant and eventually quit school to chase after my family using money from my student loans. I found myself unable to remember events from one day to the next, which ended up severely damaging my already distant relationship with my parents.

As I look back on it, from the outside it must have seemed like I'd suddenly gone crazy, losing my capacity to think logically. This was understandable to a point — I was under a terrific amount of emotional and financial strain. But that doesn't explain (to me, anyway) the day I drank a cup of cocoa from the hotel lobby, went back to my room, and immediately felt drugged. Most notably I felt extremely laid back and really, really good — the exact opposite of the oppressive, jangled despair I'd been feeling for weeks. I can imagine that being in that state would tend to make someone extremely suggestible. Realizing what must have happened to me, I forced myself to get up and leave the room. As I did, I noticed that it was very difficult for me to walk — and my gait resembled the staggering gait I've noticed in footage of a captive John Walker Lindh and also in prisoners entering Guantanamo Bay Prison.

I got to the hotel lobby and plopped down on the couch. I noticed a big guy in sweats and a buzz cut looking at me oddly. I laid my head back and closed my eyes in a stupor which must have resembled sleep. A bit later the buzz cut guy was gone but I could hear a hushed male voice using the payphone around the corner. "she's here on the damn couch ...!"

I lived in hotels from January until May in 2002. I had serious trouble sleeping. My nerves were frazzled; I kept feeling weird sensations somewhere between being burned and being shocked — from the inside out. I later found out that these symptoms are typical of a directed energy attack. Of course, at the time, I attributed my state to the emotional anguish of losing my family.

Here I'd like to point out my contention that an activist's family is often the first target of a harassment campaign. That's because these guys' foremost goal is to knock out their targets' support systems -- and there is no greater support system than a victim's family. After that comes one's job and church affiliation. In the last two years, I've seen every one of these aspects of my life come under attack. But I'm not the only one this has happened to. For a great case study of systematized harassment, read the last quarter of David Morehouse's book Psychic Warrior. BTW, Morehouse is an expert on non-lethal weapons and has written about them as well.)

At the beginning of 2002, I became as serious as a person with such meager resources could possibly be about disseminating the truth about 9-11. To be frank, it was a classic case of displacement. I felt totally powerless against my own personal and domestic demons — so I expressed all my vitriol towards the treasonous Bush gang. I posted to newsgroups, distributed pamphlets, even stood out on the street corner with a sign — "Bush is lying about 9-11." Regardless of my reasons, what I was doing was dangerous in the eyes of some very powerful people. I found it impossible to get a job an soon ran out of money, and I believe the directed energy attacks intensified. I soon suffered a nervous breakdown (from which I made a remarkable recovery once I removed myself from that toxic environment). Not long after that, I would be forced to stay in homeless shelters.

I'm not the only "Enemy of the State" to lose my home the minute I open my mouth, believe me. Mike Ruppert of fromthewilderness.com became homeless for two years, unable to find a job and subjected to extreme psychological stress after exposing the CIA's involvement with drug-running. Voxfux of voxfux.com hid out from the FBI after they raided his apartment, crashing on the couches of friends.

Here's a couple of personal anecdotes I have about directed energy harassment:

Once, a "homeless" guy I was attracted to persuaded me to leave the Salvation Army to ride with him and his friends to another town. When I got there, I found myself in a place with no shelter at all. Another guy offered to let me stay at his place and since he didn't seem to be interested in me sexually I took him up on it. I slept in a little room with a couch in it. I was covered up on the couch when the guy asked if he could come in and get something from the closet. I said sure. I was facing away from him, but as he was digging the closet I heard a click, as if he had switched something on. He quickly left, and I was suddenly gripped with the same feeling I'd had just before I entered the Crisis Center: a raw-nerved, electrical feeling reminiscent of how I sometimes feel near high voltage wires, magnified a hundred times. Only moments before, I had felt relatively calm (given the situation) and had a plan as to what I was going to do. Yet immediately after the guy left the room, I became panicky, even suicidal. I came dangerously close to bolting out of the room and jumping off a nearby bridge. Knowing what I know now, I am convinced that this mood was artificially induced through wave-frequency technology.

Fortunately, I quickly left and got back to the town where my kids were, where I stayed in various shelters. While I lived with other people, I never had a problem with a directed energy attack. I did, however, have quite a bit of difficulty securing a job. The only jobs I could get were low-end jobs where the employer had essentially hired me on the spot. At this point I'll mention that I have a lot of computer skills and a college degree. I can't even remember all the times when I thought I'd be perfect for a particular position and I couldn't even get an interview.

Perhaps my applications, inquiries and resumes never even made it through the mail. I rarely received any acknowledgements and I know people don't always get my e-mail and voice mail. Once I even received a letter (inviting me to a church function) that was two weeks late but had no post mark on it.

For example, my brother never got my phone message to wish him a happy birthday. He did, however, receive all kinds of harassment from creditors looking for me -though I never gave them his address - I didn't even know it! Funny they never called me, since I had a listed phone number during the 6 months I was eventually employed.

At that time I became a member of Open Arms United Methodist church, which blessed me with a great deal of financial and psychological support. I volunteered to run the media/sound board during services. Things were going great until a couple runs into my stint as church sound technician. It appeared as if someone was deliberately messing with the controls so that things would go wrong with the soundboard, making me look (and feel) foolish and incompetent during the service. Finally I took to coming very early to make sure everything went smoothly and no one had time to mess with the controls. I got an idea of who was behind the mayhem from who kept coming upstairs where the soundboard was, seemingly frustrated at my continued presence. This same person (a well - respected member of a large Methodist church there to assist our smaller, "mission outreach") once came up just before the service, did something in a nearby storage area, and left. I immediately felt the discomfort of what I then recognized as a wave—frequency attack. I went back into the storage area and discovered a large brown box, resembling a '70's—era amplifier, which had been switched on. I switched it off and went back to my board with no further problems. I'm ashamed to say, however, this incident led me to stop attending that church. The atmosphere had morphed from being supportive to stressful, and again a valuable source of support slipped though my fingers.

I'm well aware that everything I've said so far can be easily written off as paranoia - but that's by design. The "beauty" of directed energy weapons is that they can increase brain wave frequency to a state of disabling agitation - a state virtually indistinguishable from acute paranoia. So no one ever investigates any individual cases because they're all coming from people who (a) live alone, (b) exhibit symptoms of paranoia, and (c) are usually financially insolvent. In other words, considered in isolation, these victims resemble head-cases. However, I think if anyone bothered to study these complaints en masse, a pattern would emerge. Namely, many of these people are doing something some very powerful people don't like.

I was at an anti-war rally (I think sometime this January) and I felt the same weird energy I had by that time associated with Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) generators. I also noticed that the speakers mentioned at least three people who had wanted to be there, or give a speech, but couldn't make it because of illness or an accident. The COINTELPRO investigations of the 1970's need to be re-opened. I think there are egregious violations against the health, security, and sanity of conscientious dissenters taking place right now, as we speak, perhaps against you or someone you love. We need to take action now.

It's that time of year again ...

I always get nervous around this time of year. It seems hard to believe, but it's been almost 20 years since the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas burned to the ground killing 81 people, many of them innocent children. This was later used as the reason for the Oklahoma City Bombing (taking place the same day in 1995), which I now believe to be a false-flag event. And then there was the Columbine school shooting which took place on April 20th. But a lot of things happened on the 19th of April -- some older people might remember it as "Patriot's Day" because the "shot heard 'round the world" happened on this day in 1775 at Lexington and Concord.

I'm old enough to remember Waco clearly, though at the time I was very naive politically. Still, I remember being extremely frustrated with the ATF's course of action over the 51-day siege of the Branch Davidian compound. Basically you had a cult, armed to the teeth, holed up in their own fort designed to wait out the end of the world. And here were these dumb ATF guys blasting bright lights, Tibetan chants and God knows what else at them (I'm sure they had directed wave energy weapons at that time). You just knew it wasn't going to end well, and of course it didn't.

I still don't know much about what happened at Waco, but I can tell you that what happened at Oklahoma City was a dry run for what happened on 9-11-01. Funny, nowadays they're calling Sept. 11 "Patriot Day." What a coincidence. Another coincidence is they used the same crew (CDI) to clean up after the Twin Towers as they did for the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

Well, here's hoping we get through the next few days in peace (and not pieces)! For more about the Oklahoma City Bombing, check out WhatReallyHappened.com, they always have a lot to say about it.

The mystery of the falling birds

I'm sure it will come as no surprise to anyone who reads my blog regularly that I've always been a bit fascinated with signs and portents (probably too much, but at least I'm paying attention). Right now I'm trying to figure out what might have possibly caused birds to fall out of the sky over Arkansas over New Year's. Now we have a report that even more recently, more birds dropped out of the sky over Louisiana (which should put to rest the theory the initial kill was caused by fireworks) and there have been massive fish kills in Arkansas (which scientists assure us is an unrelated event). Unrelated? Hmmm. I read another report that says the birds have been studied and it appears they weren't poisoned -- their stomachs were empty. Cause of death: blunt trauma to their internal organs. But what caused that? Hail? HAARP? Here's an interesting recent article about Directed Energy Weapons (... speaking of Mind Control ...).

Here's a link that proposes to tie these weird events together, including the freak earthquake we had here in Northeast Indiana (I slept right through it). At any rate, it doesn't seem like a very promising time for the future, does it? Today is the day of a solar eclipse, which Hindus and Buddhists say makes the energy of mantras particularly strong. Say a positive mantra for the healing of the planet today, won't you? ("Aum mani padme hum" is a longtime favorite).

Free to go

This video starts out pretty slow, but if you stick through it to the end and realize this is about a very real person and the only reason most Americans wouldn't find it shocking is because of the color of this man's skin ... it makes you realize the deplorable depths the United States has been willing to sink. Don't think they don't torture white, non-Muslim people, either. It's being done right now, surreptitiously.

Healing with sound

As the title implies, this is one of my more esoteric posts. Those who follow my blog/postings on other websites know that I'm deeply concerned about the use of directed energy "non-lethal" weapons/social control mechanisms that can be used covertly influence behavior or even torture people. "Directed energy" pretty much refers to energy waves, i.e. sound (light is an energy wave, too, on a higher frequency).

But the knife that cuts can be a scapel that heals. Since I've been on a fast and not so inclined to be running around lately, I've been more introspective searching around the Internet for ways to heal. (Well, mostly just youtube ...) Here are some sites I wanted to collect in a post for easy reference ...

Shekinah
[The first time I saw this, it struck me as so dopey and over-the-top, I had to laugh. It seemed like a perfect satire of the New Age Movement. But there is no question this woman really believes in what she's doing! And then I asked myself, how does this Western woman know how to throat sing like that? I mean, that's a pretty obscure tradition from Mongolia and it takes years of study to be able to do it well. I watched the video again, and everything she does is done with purpose. I sense she really is working with some powerful energy there ... or she believes she is, which is pretty much the same thing.]

Propaganda

Here are some quotes I picked out from this article:

"Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything—you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him."
—Robert A. Heinlein, If This Goes On, 1940

"One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting."
—George Orwell, Homage to Catalonia, 1938

"Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one."
—Charles Mackay, Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, 1841

Did you ever stop and think about how much energy, money, etc., humans invest in deception? It seems like such a waste. Not that all lies are bad ("You look fine!", "It's not that noticeable ...", "Of course I didn't forget!"). But the nature of lies is impermanence, because they can never stand up to the truth. All lies are like what the song says *we* are, dust in the wind. Once exposed to the light, they must fall away, though anything of substance they may have been propping up comes crashing down, potentially causing some real damage.

Truth is what's left after all lies are pierced. It is the only real thing in the Universe, and ultimately the only thing of any value. But here on Earth we haven't reached "the Ultimate" yet, so Truth often plays the role of the ugly stepsister, or even the skunk at the picnic.

Lately I've been under the impression, probably a false one (but there's a truth behind that falsity ...) that a lot of energy has been directed at me, personally, to believe in a bullshit stack of lies to divert me from what I *should* be doing, whatever that is. Like I said, I'm probably deluded in that belief, but I can clearly see this is happening to the American people in general.

I can't stand to watch television anymore. It seems that everything in the "news" is an irrelevant distraction or an out-and-out lie. Where do we go to get the truth?

One of the bloggers I follow, Les Visible, says we should meditate. I think this is an excellent idea, but it's not for wussies. So many of our false comforts are based on lies. We all will feel pretty naked and cold when these are stripped from us. But I can tell you that as a nation, the United States has some pretty stark truths it must face in the immediate future. I also get the sense that the better we can deal with our own personal truths, the better we will be able to deal with these more collective truths and their effects.

"Mental conditioning" through electromagnetism

A lot of people automatically turn off when they hear about experiments in "mind control." Personally, I'm turned off by that phrase myself because "mind conditioning" is a better description. "Mind control" implies that people don't have free will, when obviously they do. But lack of awareness prevents them from having a fair shot of exercising it.

The idea behind using wave technology to affect people's mood, cognative ability, etc. is actually pretty straightforward. Most of us know that brainwave frequency changes with our level of alertness -- beta brainwaves (a faster wave) are associated with a highly alert mental state, whereas alpha brainwaves (a lower frequency) are associated with daydreaming, hypnosis, etc. Theta and delta brainwaves are often asscociated with sleep or deep meditation.

The concepts of entrainment and resonance have been understood for centuries. We know that generally, things tend to fall into rhythm with each other. If you stand two grandfather clocks against the same wall, for example, the rhythm of their pendulums will soon become synchronized. So people have asked the question: what if you beam strong electromagnetic waves at someone? Can you change their brain frequency? It turns out that you can.

Allow me to further speculate: if you can shift a brain to a frequency specific to a hypnotic state and had some way to constantly broadcast subliminal affirmations (or dis-affirmations) to a person (or people, you could theoretically broadcast these waves over a large area) could you affect that person's/people's behavior? If you think not, I'd wager you haven't done much study in psychology and marketing. Subliminal messages work. And the technology to broadcast them currently exists.

Now, would you call this "mind control?" I wouldn't, any more than I'd call hypnotism "mind control." But there's a big difference here -- generally, when someone is being hypnotized they are well aware of it and willingly submit to it. To hypnotize people without their knowledge and consent is obviously dangerous and highly unethical. If we aren't aware of the potential of this technology, how can we legislate against its abuse?

Currently various military organizations are scrambling to use the directed wave energy concept as both a weapon and tool for social control. This is an open secret -- do the research if you don't believe me. But the mainstream press absolutely will not talk about the fact that it is in operational use. I know it is because it has been used on me.

Just as with new breakthroughs in biotechnology, awareness is the key for transforming what is being used destructively into something that can be used to better all of our lives.

Links to some of my essays

I was going to put all my old essays up on this blog, but now I realize it would take up too much precious Internet time to do this (I mostly rely on the library to get access these days). Besides, most are already being hosted on Portland Indymedia. So here are some links for you:

Jody's guide to homelessness

[Originally posted at http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2002/07/15147.shtml on July 29, 02]

I have been technically homeless since January and truly homeless (by that I mean homeless and broke) since June. I woke up yesterday morning and realized that this condition might present a good journalistic topic on Indymedia, so here it is.

First of all, in advanced countries (I'll be generous and include my own nation, the United States, in that category) it's not all that bad. For as much fear as it inspires in the heart of man to keep working at their horror of a job, the hells of homelessness are definitely overrated. The worst things about it are boredom and daily rituals of pride-swallowing. Sounds like your typical low-end service job to me. I'm a good person to ask about this: in the span of a year I've gone from working so much I didn't have a life to not working at all and thus not being able to afford a life. I honestly can't say which is worse, though the latter definitely carries the greater stigma in my country.

In point of fact, there are several benefits to homelessness that man "home-guards" fail to appreciate:
1) Lots of exercise
2) Great opportunity to work on your tan
3) Feel more like Jesus

Seriously, homelessness is a great way to work on your materialist hang-ups. One thing I've discovered is that my fellow homeless people are far less likely to rip me off than your average Fortune 500 CEO. I'm also much more likely to toss things that I don't need because I simply can't carry them every place I go. In the past few weeks I've given away a cassette player, paints, clothes, and thrown out stacks of old love letters. They just weren't worth the weight and space they were taking up in my knapsack.

One also has ample opportunity to work on that most boring of the seven virtues: patience. If there's one phrase that I could use to characterize the experience of institutionalized homelessness, it's "hurry up and wait." For example, I spent six hours waiting at a free health clinic last Monday in a bid to obtain a month's supply of badly needed thyroid medicine. I was sent away with an appointment for a week and a half later. Then there's the Salvation Army, who kicks you out at eight in the morning and lets you back in at 6:30 pm. At 5:30 you see people who honestly have nothing better to do gather like crows on a telephone wire near the Salvation Army's back door. The entire day they've been waiting - at the library, the park, the public square - for the precise moment when they can roll out their bed, claim that space as their own for the night, and collapse there from exhaustion. I still don't understand why, but there's something about lugging your earthly possessions over pavement all day that saps every ounce of energy a human being has.

I would like to stress, however, that even in the US (at the time of this writing) there is no real reason one "has" to sleep outside on a park bench. There are shelters and soup kitchens in every decent-sized American town (admittedly easier to find if you are female), and there are always ways to get from town to town. Hitchhiking is considerably more dangerous and less common in the US than it is in Europe, but other homeless people are your best ally in this regard. Everyone always knows somebody who's going somewhere and can hook you up with a ride to the next shelter in an old beat-up van. Most shelters only give you 2-4 weeks to stay and if your time runs out before you can get a decent job you can always pack up and move on to greener pastures (or at least more shelter time). Some people would rather do this than work and this lifestyle is known as "shelter hopping." I think this gives homeless people in general a bad name and I can't understand why anyone would find this existence less exhausting than, say, cleaning toilets for a living ... but on the other hand, it does let you see more of the world ... sort of.

If you're the type of person who prefers to suck but not swallow, however, homelessness is definitely not for you. In this lifestyle one must force down one's pride on a daily basis: Petty bureaucrats will look at you the way they'd look at a pet poodle they suspect of piddling on their carpet. You will be directed through a series of hoops and rules, which often seem to exist for the sole pleasure the enforcer gets from enforcing them. If you smoke (which, fortunately, I do not) you may find the experience of homelessness an excellent incentive to quit -- failure to do so means constantly bumming from strangers and "hunting for snipes" in the gutter. Finally, there is no dignified way of waiting in line to receive a free lump of mush from a server with a condescending smile. If you know how to zone out in the midst of a deafening crowd, you'll soon find this to be a valuable skill.

As disheartening as it is to inevitably smell bad, feel chained to your change of clothes and constantly chastise yourself for getting angry over being made to wait for charity, in this day and age there is one side-effect of homelessness that can definitely be avoided: the feeling of being invisible, ineffectual, and unimportant. Trust me, I know how to get around this one. Here's what you do:
1) Sell one of the bus passes they give you at the Salvation Army (or panhandle, or beat your bongos, whatever) and buy an 89-cent box of chalk from Walgreen's and write "Bush Knew" and "9/11 = Reichstag" in front of a prominent government building.
2) Spend all your allotted Internet time at the public Library railing against the US government and multi-national corporations.

Before you know it, important people will be paying very close attention to you. Caution: this plan may be as hazardous to your health as smoking cigarettes, only quicker.
