Indigenous people in the news, or not ...

I was pretty horrified a couple days ago to see the last of the Standing Rock resistance forcibly removed from Treaty Lands. There was a near total mainstream media blackout on this, but I was on Twitter about it all day. Basically, you had the North Dakota national guard and out-of-state policemen from Wisconsin using military equipment (Posse Comitatus, anyone???) arresting old ladies and US veterans protecting sacred Native lands and water.

Is the world tilting off it's axis? Maybe we should listen to these indigenous people of the North:

Hi Jody,
Wouldn't it be nice if the U.S. or Canada would just build a new oil refinery, instead of a pipeline? Better yet, how about Trump, as he has stated more than one, 'to release new/hidden technology, or free energy devices.' Now, that would be Change I Could Believe in, not B.S. like the 8 years of Obama, 8 years of Bush, 8 years of Clinton. When was the last time the U.S. built a new refinery?

Peace 2U.

Tara, I'm convinced there are better ways to get our energy than fossil fuels. Thanks for your comment.
