Stories that have been flying under the radar

There's so much going on these days it's easy for the press to ignore some really important stories. Here are some things CNN isn't talking about ...

First of all, I was shocked and saddened to hear that the woman featured in the second video on this post, Lisa Nelson, died earlier this month. I found out about it at Snippets and Snappets: Thousands of BP Oil Disaster Clean-Up Crew Are Dying.

And it seems there's fresh new oil floating in the Gulf nobody's talking about: New Oil Spill in Gulf ... 100-Mile Slick

And it looks like Israel is ready for a re-play of operation Cast Lead in Gaza (where over a thousand Palestinians were killed): Shalom: Situation reminiscent of run-up to Cast Lead

And of course, nobody in the mainstream media is talking about the Stuxnet virus, designed to wreck nuclear power stations: Stuxnet found in Japan in October - Is Fukushima an unintended consequence of Israel's hacker attack against Bushehr?

When it looks like all hell is breaking loose, that's when you have to keep your eyes peeled for "what they don't tell you ..."
