"Mental conditioning" through electromagnetism

A lot of people automatically turn off when they hear about experiments in "mind control." Personally, I'm turned off by that phrase myself because "mind conditioning" is a better description. "Mind control" implies that people don't have free will, when obviously they do. But lack of awareness prevents them from having a fair shot of exercising it.

The idea behind using wave technology to affect people's mood, cognative ability, etc. is actually pretty straightforward. Most of us know that brainwave frequency changes with our level of alertness -- beta brainwaves (a faster wave) are associated with a highly alert mental state, whereas alpha brainwaves (a lower frequency) are associated with daydreaming, hypnosis, etc. Theta and delta brainwaves are often asscociated with sleep or deep meditation.

The concepts of entrainment and resonance have been understood for centuries. We know that generally, things tend to fall into rhythm with each other. If you stand two grandfather clocks against the same wall, for example, the rhythm of their pendulums will soon become synchronized. So people have asked the question: what if you beam strong electromagnetic waves at someone? Can you change their brain frequency? It turns out that you can.

Allow me to further speculate: if you can shift a brain to a frequency specific to a hypnotic state and had some way to constantly broadcast subliminal affirmations (or dis-affirmations) to a person (or people, you could theoretically broadcast these waves over a large area) could you affect that person's/people's behavior? If you think not, I'd wager you haven't done much study in psychology and marketing. Subliminal messages work. And the technology to broadcast them currently exists.

Now, would you call this "mind control?" I wouldn't, any more than I'd call hypnotism "mind control." But there's a big difference here -- generally, when someone is being hypnotized they are well aware of it and willingly submit to it. To hypnotize people without their knowledge and consent is obviously dangerous and highly unethical. If we aren't aware of the potential of this technology, how can we legislate against its abuse?

Currently various military organizations are scrambling to use the directed wave energy concept as both a weapon and tool for social control. This is an open secret -- do the research if you don't believe me. But the mainstream press absolutely will not talk about the fact that it is in operational use. I know it is because it has been used on me.

Just as with new breakthroughs in biotechnology, awareness is the key for transforming what is being used destructively into something that can be used to better all of our lives.

How can we stop the media from marginalizing good candidates?

Dennis Kucinich, an intelligent, visionary and moral presidential candidate, dropped out of the Democratic race today. I guess given the circumstances, that was a wise and realistic course of action -- his energies are probably better used elsewhere, like his bill to impeach Vice President Cheney, but nonetheless this whole sorry business just adds to my growing frustration that anyone who champions the Constitution over moneyed interests is automatically marginalized by the mainstream media.

Who, out of all the candidates, has demonstrated the most leadership lately? When Obama suffered a surprising defeat under dicey circumstances, who demanded a recount and used his own campain funds to pay for it? Not Obama -- it was Dennis Kucinich. Who recently made the bold move to force his neglected Cheney impeachment bill to the floor of the House? Again, Dennis Kucinich. The guy might look like an elf but he's got the courage of a Titan.

He's got well-thought out plans to get us out of the mess we're in and he's brave enough to put them into action. Yet from the very beginning of this seemingly endless and increasingly trivial election process, media pundits would never mention Kucinich's name without a dismissive chuckle or an aside like, "... who doesn't have a chance, by the way ..." And I don't even listen to Fox News -- this stuff was coming from the Stephanie Miller Show!

Then they barred him from even debating. Why, he might actually bring up topics that directly affect people's lives, instead of petty jabs at what constitutes "racist overtones" -- while elsewhere in the country they're hanging nooses and forcing Katrina victims out of their miserable homes.

Ron Paul, another man who the press seems to think takes his constitutional oath too seriously, is faring slightly better despite being banned from some debates. You just can't ignore the passion of his supporters, and their amazing capacity to generate contributions. Still, the media are doing their very best to stifle what threatens to erupt into a blazing wildfire.

My question is this: what can we do to get around this obvious media bias towards the moneyed interests? Right now I'm volunteering for Cindy Sheehan's congressional campaign against Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Despite Cindy's name recognition and a growing divide between Pelosi and her constituents, the press is doing everything it can to ignore or trivialize Cindy's campaign. I'm tired of seeing good people like Kucinich, Gravel, Paul and Sheehan being shunted off from public view because only "crazy" people believe in idealistic princibles anymore. I mean, let's get *real*, people ... being president has more to do with sucking up to AIPAC than anything else.

I'd appreciate any ideas on this.

Some inspiration

From Martin Luther King:

"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. I refuse to accept the cynical notion that nation after nation must spiral down a militaristic stairway into the hell of nuclear annihilation. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.

"I believe that even amid today's mortar bursts and whining bullets, there is still hope for a brighter tomorrow. I believe that wounded justice, lying prostrate on the blood-flowing streets of our nations, can be lifted from this dust of shame to reign supreme among the children of men. I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality, and freedom for their spirits. I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, men other-centered can build up.

"I still believe that one day mankind will bow before the altars of God and be crowned triumphant over war and bloodshed and nonviolent redemptive goodwill proclaimed the rule of the land. And the lion and the lamb shall lie down together, and every man shall sit under his own vine and fig tree, and none shall be afraid. I still believe that we shall overcome." People are still dying from 9-11

As America continues to be distracted by elections that won't change our leadership for about a year or so, thousands die in the Iraq war, thousands more are poisoned from the Depleted Uranium being dropped there, and people continue to die from 9-11.

The exposure of first responders to toxic chemicals like
"-- Over 400 tons of asbestos, which once inhaled in any quantity cannot be expelled by the lungs
-- 90,000 liters of jet fuel containing benzene, a carcinogen that suppresses the immune system and causes leukemia
-- Mercury from over 500,000 fluorescent lights that is toxic to the nervous system, and damaging especially to the kidneys
-- 200,000 pounds of lead and cadmium from personal computers, toxic to the respiratory track, especially damaging to kidneys
-- Polycystic aromatic hydrocarbons that cause lung, laryngeal and throat cancers
130,000 gallons of transformer oil with PCBs, causing serious skin rashes and liver damage
-- Crystalline Silica from 420,000 tons of concrete, sheetrock and glass (tiny particulates that lodge in heart, causing ischemic heart disease)"

were foreseeable and thus preventable by the EPA. Read this review of
Dust to Dust: the health effects of 9/11
A film by Heidi Dehncke-Fisher
.

Why haven't we caught the criminals behind 9-11? Even if you believe in the official story, don't you ever ask yourself "How is it we can spend billions of dollars on 2 seperate wars and we can't find a guy on a dialysis machine living in a cave somewhere?"

And people are still dying from 9-11. If that was preventable, isn't someone guilty of some serious crimes? Why aren't they being prosecuted?

Rep. Wexler presents impeachment petition before Congress

I just got this email from a Code Pink activist:

FYI:

This evening's video of Congressman Wexler presenting his petition to Congress demanding impeachment hearings. Spectators in the gallery defiantly applauded his speech, and were admonished by the Speaker.

Cindy Sheehan delivers thousands of letters to Speaker Pelosi

This morning I got up earlier than usual to help count letters at Cindy Sheehan's campaign headquarters. We delivered over 8,000 hand-written letters and over 3,000 signatures on petitions to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office calling for Dick Cheney's impeachment. Read what Cindy has to say about this here.

The day before I was at Code Pink's monthly bridge walk. We start from both sides of the Golden Gate Bridge dressed in pink, carrying signs and singing songs about peace, impeachment, and the end of torture in America. BTW, if you live in the Bay Area, the bridge walk is every second Sunday at noon. Just look for ladies dressed in pink!

Another 11th of the month, 6th anniversary of Gitmo

Yesterday was another truth action day. 9-11 truth actions are one of the most loosely organized and highly powerful social actions that you can do to spread light in this world. Just get together with friends (or act on your own) and do something to raise awareness about 9-11 on the 11th of every month. BTW, I just ran across a very thought-provoking piece about the power of anarchy in action:

Afterwards, many of us went down and participated in this action:

NH results for Clinton and Obama -- courtesy of Diebold?

Quote from renouned election blogger Brad Friedman:

"Those Diebold op-scan machines are the exact same ones that were hacked in the HBO documentary, Hacking Democracy. See the previous report, as I recommend, which also includes a video of that hack, and footage of the guy who runs LHS Associates.

"That said, the the pre-election pollster's numbers (NOTE: that's not Exit Polls, but Pre-Election Polls!) were dead-on, for the most part, on the Republican side, as well as on the Democratic side. Except in the do-or-die (for Hillary) Clinton v. Obama race. I'm watching MSNBC right now, and they all seem to agree that the results, for the moment, defy explanation."

Syndicated columnist Robert C. Koehler is asking similar questions, as well as this important one: why isn't the rest of the corporate media raising any red flags due to the recent Zogby poll (42 to 29 favoring Obama) discrepancy?

Food for thought

I'm about to head back to San Francisco. Here's some stuff I felt worth recording on my blog:

a Dozen Tested Strategies
By Rob Kall
1. Kill the strongest opposition candidate and then pretend that elections should go on as normal, without allowing the opposition party to reorganize. Examples:

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't been following much of the Sybel Edmonds story, but I'm set to do a lot of reading on it because it looks like it could be a hell of a breakthrough into getting at the Pakistani-Turkish-Israeli Axis of Espionage (and their treasonous enablers!) that have been hounding this country for so long:

Reflecting on 2007

It's normally my habit to look ahead instead of to the past, but as we are all coming to realize these days, unfinished business has a way of coming back to haunt us.

I see 2007 as both a disappointment and a great relief. I think a lot of peace and truth-loving Americans had great expectations when the Democrats took the majority in not only the House but (by the slimmest of margins) the Senate as well. We were met with the bitter (but necessary) realization that Democrats would not be our saviors from the Neocon brand of Imperialism, or even Fascism. Instead, far too many in that party have shown themselves to be nothing more than willing conspirators who have been hiding behind their "minority status" and continued to act as if they had no power to stop funding this war and the wholesale assault on our Constitutional Rights.

As Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi has the power to decide whether or not a bill comes to a vote or not. She voted against the "surge" in Iraq and increased funding for that war, but it never should have come up for a vote in the first place. Yet she wouldn't even consider putting impeachment hearings, even against someone as obviously shadey as Dick Cheney, "on the table."

As a registered voter in San Francisco, I'm one of Nancy Pelosi's constituents. I've lived in several states and I've never encountered any Representative as unresponsive as Speaker Pelosi. When I first sent her an email expressing my firm opposition to the Iraq War, I received a form letter back saying I'd have to call a certain number to confirm my status as a constituent on their "database." I don't even think it was a toll-free number. Fortunately, her local office is only a couple blocks away from my tenement. It wasn't long before I joined Code Pink and other groups that were forming a presence that Ms. Pelosi couldn't just dismiss with a form letter. But, after all this time as speaker of the house, Speaker Pelosi still hasn't met with any peace groups, and hasn't held a public town-hall meeting with any of her constituents since 2006. In my book, this is taxation without representation. It makes you wonder who Ms. Pelosi presumes is running this country, doesn't it? And as the year ended we in San Francisco came to the shocking realization that Nancy was briefed on waterboarding in 2002 and did not object.

As angry and disillusioned as the Democrats' obvious collusion has left us, it was undoubtedly necessary to wake us up to some important truths. Majority rule by Democrats is not going to save this country from Imperialism, Fascism, or even a looming dictatorship. That job lies with us, the People. And we can't wait around for some watchdog group or advocacy group to do this important work without us -- each and every one of us, as individuals, have to make our own unique contribution.

So there's a lot of positive things to be said about this past year as well -- I think the truth and individual empowerment is slowly picking up steam. The complicit corporate media, government spying, and (I'm quite sure) nasty COINTELPRO-type programs have been gumming up the works for some time on this front, but this last year showed me that real patriots are gumming up the works for the bad guys in a very big way. I'm frankly amazed we didn't experience a false-flag operation on the scale of another 9-11 last year, or the year before that at election time. I fully expected there'd be a full-scale war with Iran by now. For this let us thank God and everyone who cared enough to make that happen! And if you happen to be one of these, give yourself a pat on the back, and keep going! We've got a lot of work to do, but we've got a lot to be proud of as well.
