Divide and conquer. It's possibly the oldest trick in the book. And one's ego is like the handle the bad guys/shills use to peel us away from the folks we should be working with, not against.
Unfortunately, that's just what a couple of my favorite youtube guys, Peekay and Jeff C. (Free Radio Revolution) have allowed to happen over the past few days. They started some dispute over whether or not a certain plane crash was real or not and it escalated into some pointless war about something most people have long forgotten by now, anyway. This is far from the first time I've seen this kind of thing happen. It happened with Rense and Makow. It happened with David Icke and Jesse Ventura. I don't play the "team Jessie" or "team Rense" game. I acknowledge that there are honest truthseekers out there, and there are deliberate disinformation people, but occasionally everyone gets it wrong once in a while, and if on the whole you are opening more eyes and doing more good that bad, I'll read your stuff and let the facts speak for themselves.
I don't want to pontificate and play the hypocrite here. Sure, I have an ego. Everyone does. I don't think you can even exist on this plane of existence without one. It's like having a physical body -- it's a drag to carry around and a bother to keep up, but what are you goin' to do? Accept it, make peace with it, but don't let it boss you around.
The truth is, there are lots of people out there getting paid big money to destroy and discourage cooperation between truthseekers. Shills, provocateurs, false allies, you name it. These are our real enemies: the ones who are doing their damnedest to seperate us from potential friends and supporters. They do it on a large scale (pitting Shia against Sunni, or Repubicans against Democrats) but they do it on a small scale, too. Don't let them defeat you in this way. Stand up for what you believe in, but don't take any attacks (or criticism?) personally. That's a sucker's game.
Here's a video from Joy Camp that addresses this very issue:
Sorry I haven't written for so long. Honestly, I just feel overwhelmed. Some new BS story is airing everyday now, and I just don't have the time or the computer resources to thoroughly look into any particular thing. It seems like it's all bad news, all the time. But just remember one thing ... most of it is totally fake. This time a few months ago everyone thought they'd all be dead of Ebola. A few years before that we were all assured we were going to be dead from the fallout of Fukishima. Before that I figured the oceans were all going to die because of Corexit. And I always was wary of 2012.
So now I hear about a bunch of Coptic Christians being beheaded by ISIS. Here's a general thing to keep in mind when you hear all these news stories ... ISIS is a western invention currently being used to give westerners an excuse to bomb whatever sovereign country it feels like bombing. Think, people. Who the hell funds it? I heard that as many as 2,500 "foreigners" (whatever that means) have decided to up and leave their western-cultured home countries to join ISIS. Really? Well, if that's true, what's to stop American intelligence agencies from thoroughly infiltrating their ass and destroy them from within? I mean, they could sell them a bunch of sabotaged arms, or something like that, right? Except the fact of the matter is, they are already totally infiltrated by Western intelligence, because that's who created these terrorist groups in the first place. Their existence "legitimizes" American intervention with sovereign countries, from Syria to Yemen.
Speaking of being out of one's jurisdiction -- I heard something on the news that said the FBI was helping investigations of the recent deadly shootings in Copenhagen. I thought the FBI was a US domestic intelligence organization. What business do they have investigating the guy who supposedly attacked a freedom of speech debate and a Jewish synagogue in Denmark? Reading this link, it sounds like they are making the shooter out to be a near carbon copy of Jahar Tsarnaev, the accused Boston Marathon bomber, whose trial would have been well underway by now if it hadn't been for the unprecedented weather in Boston over the past several days.
I get increasingly frustrated with the news and pretty much anything else on television these days, so please forgive me if I'm not exactly telling you "what they don't tell you" because right now I just don't have a clue. Something tells me we're being distracted from something much bigger, but I don't know what it is, and I just don't feel qualified to give an intelligent analysis of anything else. So anyway, that's why I haven't written much for a while, plus the weather sucks here in Indiana, too, and I don't have my own computer. Boo hoo. :)
I had a lot of fun on Twitter today, as yesterday big shot news anchor Brian Williams was forced to confess that his helicopter did not, in fact face enemy fire in 2003 as he had claimed in this video.
So Twitter users made light of this fact with a BrianWilliamsMisrembers hashtag. Here's is Williams's obviously disingenuous apology:
Oh, and check out this stunning hypocrisy:
"In a 2007 lecture at New York University’s journalism school, NBC News host Brian Williams touted his 'BS meter' when it came to credible news and mocked the credibility of bloggers, pitting himself—a man 'developing credentials to cover my field of work'—against lowly bloggers who can’t always be trusted."
I watched the immolation video that prompted Jordan to get on the bandwagon attacking ISIS. It looks like Rita Katz and the hoaxsters have upped their production value, but this video may give you a clue about how it may have been made.
I believe it's up to each and every one of us to contribute our own special talents to make this world a better place for all of us.
I used to volunteer for KRFP, a great community radio station in Moscow, Idaho. I have over 50 radio commentaries (including scripts) posted elsewhere on the internet. Check them out by searching under my name at http://radio4all.net!
Grandfather, look at our brokenness. We know that in all creation only the human family has strayed from the sacred way. We know that we are the ones who are divided and we are the ones who must come back together to walk in the sacred way. Grandfather, sacred one, teach us love, compassion, and honor that we may heal the earth and heal each other.
