Braving the Polar Winds

Sorry I haven't posted in a while ... but as I've mentioned several times, I don't have a computer at home, my food stamps (and thus my transportation money) just got cut big time, and there's been no let up on this nasty weather (I'm in northern Indiana). I'm sure I'll find something noteworthy to post later in the day, but for now I just want to let my family and friends know that I'm still alive.

Rest in Peace, Pete Seeger.

Rule from the Shadows - The Psychology of Power - Part 1

The bad guys are spending billions of dollars to use our own psychology against us. But if we as individuals study the techniques they've spent so much time and money discovering, we can use it to help spread truth instead of lies.

Dirty Dozen: Gitmo 'celebrates' 12 yrs of torture & detention (video)

Happy 2014!

Between storms, holidays, and general lack of funds it's been quite a while since I've been able to get to the library, so for me today will be mostly a day of catching up with what has been going on with the world. I can't stomach watching TV news for any length of time anymore, though I did learn this morning that Hell's gotten a bit more crowded. I wish I could say I was above wanting to dance on Ariel Sharon's grave, but I'm not. Mazel tov, Mr. Sharon! May you reap all the rewards of your viciousness. Enjoy the toasty warm weather of your new home!

I was happy to see they're re-airing some of Jesse Ventura's old Conspiracy Theory episodes on truTV (Wednesdays 9 and 10 a.m. and Thursdays 9 and 10 a.m.). If you haven't had a chance to see any of these yet, check them out, they're really good.

Well, I'm just checking in to let you know I'm still around, I'll be back to post more stuff once I get a better idea what's going on besides whatever the mainstream news is distracting us with this week (that would be Chris Christie's traffic jam).
